Today is National Donald Duck Day, and I would say that Donald Duck was one of my favorite Mickey Mouse characters growing up. And as an adult, I fell in love with the rebooted version of DuckTales. So today, I wanted to talk about why I think DuckTales is a great show and why you should check it out.

This week, I am going to turn 28. I don’t really know what to say about it that I haven’t said before when it comes to my birthday. I don’t know if I can claim to dread it, but I’m not necessarily excited about it either. It seems to be another day on the calendar, which leads me to wondering if this is what transitioning into adulthood is?

Maybe this is what it is like to feel like I’m coasting? I’m not sure, but in an attempt to focus on the positive things, I thought I would share some of my favorite things today. Since I am turning 28, that is the length of this list, so if this is your first time here, this is a good opportunity to get to know me

My Trip Advisor Guide to Disney World

Oh my gosh, it’s Disney Plus Day, but I have to say that I miss going to Disney World. You can make fun of me all you like for being a Disney adult, but Disney played a big role in my college career. Which still feels very fresh, because now I’m in the thick of it again with graduate school.

That’s also the same reason I haven’t gone back, because I don’t know if I can afford it right now. So for Disney Plus Day, I am going to share my personal favorites when it comes to the parks, from my favorite places to grab a bite to my favorite rides, and some of my magic tips. If you get the chance to go, maybe my suggestions will add a little magic to your trip.

Decoding emails i can’t send by Sabrina Carpenter

So what I really wanted to do for this blog post was share a summer playlist, but the summer is slowly coming to an end since I start grad school next week. Plus, the truth is that I have had this album on repeat since it came out, so even if I were to curate a playlist now, it would probably incorporate all the songs on this album anyway.

At the end of the day, I have been a fan of Sabrina Carpenter since she was on Girl Meets World. I’m a fan of her, her music, and her acting career. She’s been a guest on my favorite podcast, and Sabrina was the first concert that I took my babysister to. So when Olivia Rodrigo dropped “Driver’s License” and her album, the Sabrina fan in me did not want to support her music at all. Not that she needed me to, since everyone knows who Olivia Rodrigo is now.

Since then, Sabrina has been pretty quiet and low-key. Sure, there has been a song here and there, but for the most part, this album has been the first time we’ve really heard from Sabrina since everything happened. So of course, I can’t wait to dissect it, and that is going to be the blog today.

Another Weekend of Wisdom

So my boyfriend had another wisdom tooth removed before the weekend started, and I believe that this is the last one. The loving, doting girlfriend that I am, I took the weekend off of work to make sure that he was going to be okay. My 70’s Essentials Kit

We’re about to go into a new weekend, but you can tell by the title of this blog and the two earlier this week that my mind is still on the last one! Hopefully, as the weekend starts that changes, but it also might be unlikely. The forecast is that I am planning on working this weekend, which shouldn’t be too much of a shocker.

Anyway, for the last blog this week, I thought I would reflect on the ’70s themed party one last time, and share what I thought were the essentials in getting into the right mindset to groove the night away.

Why The Bold Type Stands Out

I’m probably late to the party, but I just finished watching all of The Bold Type. It is a show that really stands out in my mind, and I find that it was so refreshing, comfortable, and pleasing to watch that I can’t bring myself to start another television show. At this point in time, I feel like nothing can measure up to the feeling that The Bold Type gives me when I’m watching, so I am avoiding the idea of starting something new.

Are You Happy?

If you’ve gone to see the latest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you’ll know that happiness is the theme throughout Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Small spoiler ahead: aside from several characters asking, “Are you happy, Stephen?” happiness is also the primary motivator for Wanda Maximoff, or Scarlett Witch, as the villain of the movie. Happiness is the theme that I wanted to discuss in today’s blog post, so let’s get right into it.
