I’ve Become a Fan of the D’Amelios

Of course I had heard of the D’Amelios before this, but I don’t think that I really developed an interest in them until the past week. Obviously, Charli and Dixie were very trendy during the pandemic when Tik Tok really started to become popular, but at the time, I believed that I was too old and uncoordinated to be dancing on a social media platform.

After hearing Marc speak on the podcast, and hearing that Charli and her mom Heidi are competing on Dancing with the Stars this season, I wanted to know all about them. So instead of caving and downloading Tik Tok, I went and started watching The D’Amelio Show on Hulu. After finishing all of season one, I’m now a fan who is contemplating downloading Tik Tok.

What My Lazy Day Looks Like

While today is National Lazy Day, I am probably not having a lazy day right now. If you’re reading this, I am probably at orientation for graduate school, because that is what I have on the schedule bright and early today. But for today’s post, let’s pretend that I am having a lazy day and what that would look like for me. You know, if I could’ve had one today.

Another Weekend of Wisdom

So my boyfriend had another wisdom tooth removed before the weekend started, and I believe that this is the last one. The loving, doting girlfriend that I am, I took the weekend off of work to make sure that he was going to be okay. I started out this weekend tired, because for me, this weekend started early, and not just because of the holiday weekend. Although, it might be said that my weekend ended earlier because of the holiday, because I ended up working. While I also spent the Fourth of July comforting my dog, I’m pleased to report that I can go into my week well-rested and content.

Since I’m not invested in this season yet, I didn’t want to write a blog post with speculations and predictions. Instead, I wanted to take an idea The Bachelor producers had in 2020 and redo it with my input. Since they weren’t able to film, they did season of looking back and declaring the most notable seasons, but I don’t agree with the ones they chose.
