Debating About Friends After Watching for the First Time

I feel like so many people in my life love the show Friends that it was a crime that I hadn’t seen it. So I squeezed it in recently, and while I can say that I appreciate it, I don’t think it is as special to me as it is for everyone else. It is enjoyable for what it is, but I think the reason that people loved it so much is that they were living with it. Like, they had to wait week by week for the next thing to happen, kind of like how I loved shows like Big Time Rush, Hannah Montana, or The Vampire Diaries. They’re so memorable because I remember being invested in the characters, being upset by the cliff hangers, and just having a little escape from life.

Anyway, for this blog post, I thought I would tackle some of the major debates about the show since Thanksgiving is around the corner. For me, the show really gives me Thanksgiving vibes, so that is my logic.

What My Lazy Day Looks Like

While today is National Lazy Day, I am probably not having a lazy day right now. If you’re reading this, I am probably at orientation for graduate school, because that is what I have on the schedule bright and early today. But for today’s post, let’s pretend that I am having a lazy day and what that would look like for me. You know, if I could’ve had one today.

Another Weekend of Wisdom

So my boyfriend had another wisdom tooth removed before the weekend started, and I believe that this is the last one. The loving, doting girlfriend that I am, I took the weekend off of work to make sure that he was going to be okay. Why The Bold Type Stands Out

I’m probably late to the party, but I just finished watching all of The Bold Type. It is a show that really stands out in my mind, and I find that it was so refreshing, comfortable, and pleasing to watch that I can’t bring myself to start another television show. At this point in time, I feel like nothing can measure up to the feeling that The Bold Type gives me when I’m watching, so I am avoiding the idea of starting something new.

Since I’m not invested in this season yet, I didn’t want to write a blog post with speculations and predictions. Instead, I wanted to take an idea The Bachelor producers had in 2020 and redo it with my input. Since they weren’t able to film, they did season of looking back and declaring the most notable seasons, but I don’t agree with the ones they chose.
