My Well-Balanced Weekend

It’s not often that I get a weekend where it’s nicely balanced, one that is equal parts work, socializing, and resting. Either I work or do homework for most of the weekend, or I worked all week so that I could have a completely fun weekend, just like the one I had last weekend. So what does a well-balanced weekend look like for me? Keep reading to find out.

My Very Nice Weekend

It seemed like a much-deserved holiday weekend for me, because I have been laboring my days away since the week before school started. But now I’m back, and while I also spent the weekend doing homework, I also had some fun. Of course, hard work is important, because I don’t live to work, I’m working to live. So enjoy reading about what I worked for this past weekend.

My 70’s Essentials Kit

We’re about to go into a new weekend, but you can tell by the title of this blog and the two earlier this week that my mind is still on the last one! Hopefully, as the weekend starts that changes, but it also might be unlikely. The forecast is that I am planning on working this weekend, which shouldn’t be too much of a shocker.

Anyway, for the last blog this week, I thought I would reflect on the ’70s themed party one last time, and share what I thought were the essentials in getting into the right mindset to groove the night away.

I started out this weekend tired, because for me, this weekend started early, and not just because of the holiday weekend. Although, it might be said that my weekend ended earlier because of the holiday, because I ended up working. While I also spent the Fourth of July comforting my dog, I’m pleased to report that I can go into my week well-rested and content.

What My Hobbies Say About Me

I’m truly blessed to have the privilege of starting a new job right after graduation. One of the questions that I was asked while in the interview was, “What are some hobbies you do in your free time?” While I’m pretty sure my answer to this question is not the reason I got that job, I wanted to focus on it since this month is National Hobby Month.

In honor of National Apps Day on December 11, I wanted to share what my favorite apps to use are. Now, this will exclude the everyday social media favorites like Instagram and Twitter, or just media in general, like Spotify and YouTube. Those are staples, so the apps I list here will be different from my everyday apps.
