I’ve Become a Fan of the D’Amelios

Of course I had heard of the D’Amelios before this, but I don’t think that I really developed an interest in them until the past week. Obviously, Charli and Dixie were very trendy during the pandemic when Tik Tok really started to become popular, but at the time, I believed that I was too old and uncoordinated to be dancing on a social media platform.

After hearing Marc speak on the podcast, and hearing that Charli and her mom Heidi are competing on Dancing with the Stars this season, I wanted to know all about them. So instead of caving and downloading Tik Tok, I went and started watching The D’Amelio Show on Hulu. After finishing all of season one, I’m now a fan who is contemplating downloading Tik Tok.

My First Weekend Wrap-Up

When I hop on this blog, I sometimes find that I struggle to find a topic that I want to write about. To simplify things going forward, I am considering reflecting on the weekend and sharing what I did. This is a lifestyle blog, after all. However, the issue might arise in the scenario when I work the weekends, because then the weekend wrap-up might not be so interesting. This is summer time though, so maybe things will be different and more interesting. Since I did end up having a fun and busy weekend, I thought this would be the week to try writing about it. Since everyone is probably discussing workouts, I thought I would use today’s Friday Favorites to share my favorite workouts. Honestly, if I didn’t like these so much, I probably would just vegetate on a couch to my mind’s content. They either lift my heart or make it work overtime with excitement.
