My 70’s Outfit Inspiration

At the end of the day, my outfit really came together for the 70’s event, but would you believe me if I said I really struggled to find something to wear? It’s true; I went through about two-thirds of the mall before I found something I liked, and even then I pitter-pattered around the store for about 30 more minutes feeling unsure about it. For today, I thought I would go through my thought process in choosing my outfit for the event and how I got really lucky at the end of the day.

Why The Bold Type Stands Out

I’m probably late to the party, but I just finished watching all of The Bold Type. It is a show that really stands out in my mind, and I find that it was so refreshing, comfortable, and pleasing to watch that I can’t bring myself to start another television show. At this point in time, I feel like nothing can measure up to the feeling that The Bold Type gives me when I’m watching, so I am avoiding the idea of starting something new.

The July 4th Weekend of Meeting with Movers

I started out this weekend tired, because for me, this weekend started early, and not just because of the holiday weekend. To simplify things going forward, I am considering reflecting on the weekend and sharing what I did. This is a lifestyle blog, after all. However, the issue might arise in the scenario when I work the weekends, because then the weekend wrap-up might not be so interesting. This is summer time though, so maybe things will be different and more interesting. Since I did end up having a fun and busy weekend, I thought this would be the week to try writing about it. Keep reading so that, when you reach the end, you can leave me a comment telling me if you have had fun living through the weekend with me, or if this was a summer snooze fest for you.

Dining and Dancing Through Prom Season

You would think that once you graduate high school, you kind of leave it behind you. That’s not the case for me; I feel as though I came into who I was in high school, making it a pivotal time in my life, and some of the really important relationships that I have in my life started in high school. The thing that inspires this blog post? My close relationship with my sister, who was recently asked to prom. It made me happy to hear that she had been asked, even though she has no intention of going. I’m going to assume that she would rather spend the night with me, but I have always been the girl who looked for any excuse to dress up and go get something delicious to eat. For today’s blog post, I wanted to reflect on my prom experience.

Appreciation Post for My Matchmaker

While I fell in love for the first time on a dating app, it was not the preferred way I would have wanted to meet my partner. If you’ve been following my story at all, you would know that isn’t how my current relationship came to be. Since it’s National Matchmaker Day, I wanted to show a little appreciation for my friend and matchmaker, Alex.
