Today is National Donald Duck Day, and I would say that Donald Duck was one of my favorite Mickey Mouse characters growing up. And as an adult, I fell in love with the rebooted version of DuckTales. This week, I am going to turn 28. I don’t really know what to say about it that I haven’t said before when it comes to my birthday. I don’t know if I can claim to dread it, but I’m not necessarily excited about it either. It seems to be another day on the calendar, which leads me to wondering if this is what transitioning into adulthood is?

Maybe this is what it is like to feel like I’m coasting? I’m not sure, but in an attempt to focus on the positive things, I thought I would share some of my favorite things today. Since I am turning 28, that is the length of this list, so if this is your first time here, this is a good opportunity to get to know me

My 3 Favorite Things of 2023

Is this a late blog post? I wouldn’t say so, if you take into consideration that I just finished celebrating Vietnamese New Year. But maybe if you’re looking at it from the aspect of we’re near the end of February, then I would get it, but I’m going to reflect now anyway. Maybe there is a part of me that feels it’s easier to look backward right now than to focus on the present. There is a lot going on right now.

There has been an itch that I have not been able to scratch since this pandemic started, and it was the itch to get out and travel to places. That being said, I was very fortunate that my boyfriend’s family picked to go to Las Vegas for this trip, because there is more to do than just party the night away and then go into gambling debt during the day.
