28 of My Favorite Things

This week, I am going to turn 28. I don’t really know what to say about it that I haven’t said before when it comes to my birthday. I don’t know if I can claim to dread it, but I’m not necessarily excited about it either. It seems to be another day on the calendar, which leads me to wondering if this is what transitioning into adulthood is?

I will preface this with the fact that I have not been engaged three times; this blog post is just my way of bragging about the fact that I am finally engaged. It adds to how wonderful life feels right now. My excitement is so palpable that my fiancé is tired of hearing me say the word fiancé. A Weekend In Memphis

I always thought that the first time I went to Tennessee would be to visit Nashville, but I actually went to Memphis back in 2019. I walked through Memphis on my own, actually a couple of blocks away from Beale, and by the time I was on the airplane home, I felt that I experienced all I needed to.
