This week, I am going to turn 28. I don’t really know what to say about it that I haven’t said before when it comes to my birthday. I don’t know if I can claim to dread it, but I’m not necessarily excited about it either. It seems to be another day on the calendar, which leads me to wondering if this is what transitioning into adulthood is?

Maybe this is what it is like to feel like I’m coasting? I’m not sure, but in an attempt to focus on the positive things, I thought I would share some of my favorite things today. Since I am turning 28, that is the length of this list, so if this is your first time here, this is a good opportunity to get to know me

Top 3 Places to Get Engaged

I will preface this with the fact that I have not been engaged three times; this blog post is just my way of bragging about the fact that I am finally engaged. It adds to how wonderful life feels right now. My excitement is so palpable that my fiancé is tired of hearing me say the word fiancé. So without further ado, I am going to share what I believe are the best places to get engaged are. Note that I am biased toward the places where we took photos. Spoiler alert: they’re all in Iceland.

3 Things on My Summer Bucket List

I’ve been taking on a large workload because we’re short staffed at work, but since we’re expecting some new people to come in, I should be working less soon. So with that being said, I am looking forward to having more free time as that rolls around. A Weekend In Memphis

I always thought that the first time I went to Tennessee would be to visit Nashville, but I actually went to Memphis back in 2019. I walked through Memphis on my own, actually a couple of blocks away from Beale, and by the time I was on the airplane home, I felt that I experienced all I needed to.
