Trying to Pull Together My Life List

While I would say that I am pretty content with my life, finishing The Life List Netflix movie did make me think about the child-version of me and whether she would be happy with where I’m at now. It was hard to reconnect with my inner child, because I think that I have consciously and unconsciously worked to try and hide those urges away where the light doesn’t shine. So while I was able to pull together this list today, I imagine that it isn’t full and complete to the little girl I once was, and maybe that’s okay. Maybe I’ll meet her again one day and ask her.

They were so proud, even the airport was decorated with Chiefs-themed decorations.

What It’s Like Being in a Winning Super Bowl City

Superbowl LIX honestly made me think of last year’s Superbowl, when I was actually in Kansas City when the Chiefs won Superbowl LVII against the San Francisco 49ers. So that is what I wanted to write about for today’s blog post.

My 6 Favorite Video Games

With today being National Video Game Day, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite video games. These are current, and I have picked two games per device that I use so I can stick to my them of six things on a list. With full transparency, I will not claim to be good at any of these games, but I can definitely say that I always have fun playing them, especially with my sisters.

My Well-Balanced Weekend

It’s not often that I get a weekend where it’s nicely balanced, one that is equal parts work, socializing, and resting. Either I work or do homework for most of the weekend, or I worked all week so that I could have a completely fun weekend, just like the one I had last weekend. My Very Nice Weekend

It seemed like a much-deserved holiday weekend for me, because I have been laboring my days away since the week before school started. But now I’m back, and while I also spent the weekend doing homework, I also had some fun. Of course, hard work is important, because I don’t live to work, I’m working to live. So enjoy reading about what I worked for this past weekend.

My 70’s Essentials Kit

We’re about to go into a new weekend, but you can tell by the title of this blog and the two earlier this week that my mind is still on the last one! Hopefully, as the weekend starts that changes, but it also might be unlikely. The forecast is that I am planning on working this weekend, which shouldn’t be too much of a shocker.
