Maybe you can tell from what I write/how bad I am at regularly making sure I am posting, but I can very easily get caught up in my work and doing what I have to do. However, on this particular weekend I decided to stay in town instead of going home since Asanti just came home.

Grad school starts for me in less than a week, so I am in full back-to-school mode. That means that I am stocking up on supplies, loading up on sleep, and doing my best to enjoy my free-time while I have it. It’s part of the reason that I kind of dropped off the face of the earth this past week; I’ve been a bit busy. But today is Friday, so I want to share something that I truly have enjoyed watching. With everything going on, I have a lot of thoughts on the matter as an Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAIP) person, and there is a lot of pain and hurt from that statement and everything else. In light of the recent events in Atlanta, and the way that Asians have increasingly become the target of hate crimes in the past year, I wanted to take the time to talk about what my experience has been like as an Asian American.
