4 Green Flags Found In My Boyfriend

So yesterday was National Boyfriend Day, and I’m so grateful to have the wonderful boyfriend that I do. I’m willing to talk about him all day long, and I can do it with a smile on my face. Today’s blog post is inspired by this week’s The LadyGang: Quickie, where Keltie, Jac, and Becca all talk about the green flags in their relationships. It’s definitely more positive than red flags, so I thought I would do my own take on the matter.

Reading List: Summer 2020

Originally, this was going to be a list of beach reads that I recommend. However, Florida has recently become an epicenter for COVID-19, so I’m not sure when the next time I will want to go to the beach will be. The result is that I have included more than the typical light beach reads (but those are fun, and I’ve included them as well). If you’re looking for a new book, perhaps you’ll find something once you finish reading this post.

I’ve Been Nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Awards!

I’m slowly getting back into the groove after enjoying a long weekend, and I think being nominated for something is a great way to go into a Tuesday with a smile. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes also gives us some insight into how Snow thinks, what has influenced him, and possible causes of what led him to become the man we know him to be in The Hunger Games. After reading the book, I thought that it would be interesting to revisit the movies and see how his character compares to what I read, or how it might have evolved since then.

23 Things I Want To Do Once Quarantine Is Over

Bring out the firecrackers, because it’s my birthday! While I spent most of the day at work, I’m very happy with how this birthday went. It was nice to come home to a dinner with my family, knowing that we’re all safe, healthy, and pretty happy. It’s also so easy to slip into the mindset of how this birthday is so different from all of my other birthdays. There are so many things to do in the world, and I was happiest having dinner with my family. I think that says something about how I’m coping with quarantine. Anyway, in honor of turning 23, today’s blog post is a list of 23 things I want to do once quarantine is over.
