A Day Out on the Water

When I made my bingo card for the summer, I didn’t put “Go out on a boat,” simply because I did not think it was in the realm of possibility. It was a pleasant surprise when Asanti said to be free this weekend so that I could join him and his friends on their boat adventure.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I am off to St. Augustine for the day with family as you read this, so I thought I would reflect on my first trip to St. Augustine to celebrate the occasion. While the standard Florida kid went to St. Augustine in fourth grade, I passed on it because money was tight. But it worked out for the better, because I got to take my boyfriend on a surprise date around the city, so keep reading for the highlights of our little getaway.
