At my worst and at my best, my siblings have been by my side. While I grew up jealous of the attention that they sometimes got, I’ve grown to really love them. That’s why, for today’s post, I wanted to share one of my favorite memories with each of them.
1. Kristi and Kristina Take on New York City
Last year, Kristina graduated from high school, and we decided to celebrate by taking a trip with just the two of us. It was a great way for us to bond, and I’m so glad that she wanted to explore the city with me. We talk about how we miss it all the time.

2. Seeing Hamilton Live
My sister Jasmine is a big fan of Broadway, and she’s actually the person who got me into Hamilton. When I heard that a leg of the tour was coming to Orlando, I waited hours so that I could get the best tickets in house for us. It was such a wonderful experience that the Hamilton album ended up being my most played for 2019. The only regret I have is that Jasmine was too tired afterwards to go out for the Korean BBQ that we originally planned to.

3. Cute Conversations
If someone were to ask me what my favorite memory is of Kimmy, it was a conversation we had one summer when she was in elementary school. I went into the garage to grab some frozen pizzas from the freezer. She followed me, and the conversation went something like this.
“Kristi, how do you know if a boy likes you?”
I looked at her after I pulled out a pizza and shut the fridge. “Kimmy, I love you, but I don’t think you need to be worrying about boys right now. Look at me, I’m almost twenty, and I haven’t had a boyfriend yet. Promise me you’ll just be friends with boys for a long time.”
“Okay Kristi. I promise I won’t have a boyfriend until you have a boyfriend.” And then she sauntered off.
I brought up this conversation all the time until I had a boyfriend. Then Kimmy was very quick to talk about the promise she made.

What are some of your favorite memories with your siblings? If you have a brother and a sister, what was different about those two relationships (I’ve always been curious)? Do you have anyone you consider close enough to be family?
Thanks so much for reading my blog during these stressful times. I hope that it brought a smile to your face, and if it did, I hope you’ll help me out by liking this post, sharing it with your friends, and subscribing so that you can get updates when I have something new up. Thanks again, I hope you’re staying safe and healthy.
Love Always,
Kristi My
